Providing Camera and Microphone Permissions in Chrome

If you're struggling to get an image on your webcam or others can't hear you when in a Google Meet or Zoom Meeting, you may need to provide the proper user permissions to Chrome.

These permissions can be granted by User accounts, so this can be resolved quickly and easily.

Note: In this demonstration, Google Meets is shown. The steps remain the same when providing permissions to Zoom or Teams.

Providing Permissions:

If you've previously inadvertently blocked Chrome from accessing your Camera and Mic:

Chrome will restart automatically after clicking "Quit and Reopen." You can press ⌘ command + ⇧ shift + T  to restore the tabs you had open.
